All of our physicans are board certified in otolaryngology.

Roy S. Schottenfeld, M.D.
Dr. Roy S. Schottenfeld, an Atlanta native, established a solo practice in the Roswell area in 1989. He received his MD degree from the Medical College of Georgia Hospital. Post Graduate training included an internship at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital, Residency in surgery at Emory University Hospital and Research Fellowship in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his Junior Assistant and Senior Assistant residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was also a clinical fellow and instructor.
Dr. Schottenfeld was the recipient of several awards for his research. The Stipend Award to Academy for Research in Otolaryngology and First Prize from the Maryland Society of Otolaryngology Research Forum. He has done research on the Efferent Auditory System and is a published author. He is a member of the American Medical Association, and American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Schottenfeld was voted Top Doctor in 2007 and 2009 by Atlanta Magazine. He sees patients in the Roswell and Cumming offices.


Raymond L. Schettino, M.D.
Dr. Raymond L. Schettino joined the practice in 1990. He received his MD degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Post Graduate training included an internship and residency in General Surgery and Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Schettino was a Fellow in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was also an instructor in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery.
He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Schettino was voted Top Doctor by Atlanta Magazine in 1999 and 2001.
He sees patients in the Roswell and Johnson Ferry offices.


Joel A. Hoffman, M.D.
Dr. Joel A. Hoffman joined the practice in 1993. He received his MD degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals of Cleveland. He is a member of two medical honor societies, Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha, as well as the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Hoffman’s areas of interest include facial plastic surgery, sleep disorders and sinus problems.
Dr. Hoffman sees patients in the Cumming and Roswell offices.


Mark J. Yanta, M.D.
Dr. Mark J. Yanta joined the practice in 1997. He received his MD degree and completed residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, Texas, where he was three times elected class president. Post graduate training included two years in General Surgery and four years in the field of Otolaryngology at the prestigious Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He proceeded to New Orleans, Louisiana, where he completed a fellowship and became board certified in Facial Reconstructive Surgery. During this training, he was a faculty member at Tulane University, and was involved in training resident physicians at that institution. Dr. Yanta has also participated in specialty training courses in advanced endoscopic sinus techniques and sleep medicine.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, and American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Yanta sees patients in the Roswell and Johnson Ferry offices.
