Roy S. Schottenfeld, M.D.

Dr. Roy S. Schottenfeld received his MD degree from the Medical College of Georgia Hospitals. Postgraduate training included an internship at the Medical College of Georgia Hospitals, a research fellowship in Biomedical Engineering at The John Hopkins Hospital. He was also a clinical fellow and instructor in the Department of Otolaryngology at The John Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Schottenfeld has received several awards for his research including the Stipend Award to Academy for Research in Otolaryngology and first prize from the Maryland Society of Otolaryngology Research Forum. He is a published author and has been in research on the efferent auditory system since 1985.

Dr. Schottenfeld sees patients in the Cumming and Roswell offices.






Raymond L. Schettino, M.D.

Dr. Raymond Schettino received his M.D. degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He stayed at Johns Hopkins where he was intern and resident in general surgery and completed a residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.

Upon completion of his residency, he was a fellow in pediatric otolaryngology and also an instructor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital

He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Schettino sees patients in the Roswell and Northside offices.






Joel A. Hoffman, M.D.

Dr. Joel A. Hoffman received his MD degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals of Cleveland. Dr. Hoffman has also studied under world-renowned facial plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills and New Orleans.

He is a member of two medical honor societies, Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha as well as the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His special interests include facial plastic surgery, sleep disorders, and sinus problems.

Dr. Hoffman has been practicing in the Forsyth and North Fulton area since 1994. He sees patients in the Cumming and Roswell offices.






Mark J. Yanta, M.D.

Dr. Mark Yanta, a native Texan, joined North Fulton ENT in 1997.  He received his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, Texas, where he was three times elected as class president.  After graduating from medical school, he trained for two years in General Surgery at prestigious Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. 

He then completed his four years of ear, nose, and throat training at the same institution.  Upon completing this training and receiving board certification within the field of Otolaryngology, he proceeded to New Orleans, Louisiana, where he completed a fellowship in Facial Reconstructive Surgery.  During this training, he was a faculty member at Tulane University, and was involved in training resident physicians at that institution.  He has completed board certification in this field as well.  Dr. Yanta has also participated in specialty training courses in advanced endoscopic sinus techniques and sleep medicine.

Dr. Yanta sees patients of all ages, adult and pediatric. He works out of the Northside Hospital and Roswell locations.
